WHO IS the boathouse....?

People always want to know who owns, runs and looks after The Boathouse because all visitors love the beachy elegant style + casual environment that the cafe brings.

Friends, Brianna Russell + Andrew Goldsmith, saw the massive potential that the old run down Barrenjoey Boathouse had. It was screaming for help, so once they got their hands on it the old Carmel's kiosk was born as THE BOATHOUSE PALM BEACH...

After a month of renovations the pair opened their new cafe doors on 11.11.08.

So who are they?

BRIANNA RUSSELL

Brianna, who hails from Lennox Head NSW, is an interior designer by trade, having completed her course at The Whitehouse Institute of Design. Prior to The Boathouse, Brianna specialised in commercial interior design, all the while yearning to move into the creative world of food and hospitality.
The opportunity arose for Brianna to combine her passion for business and her creativity with the evolution of The Boathouse.

Working away, this was taken in one of the very first weeks that The Boathouse was open for trade.
